The People of the country need to clarify their ideas
This is a testimonial I wrote for Blank Noise,which fights Street Sexual Harassment.
When I was sixteen and coming out of school after an examination,a
large number of people had gathered to pick "their children"up from
school.Suddenly,I felt a man grope my breasts.There were lots and lots
of people and I couldn't understand who it was. I was sandwiched
between two people and one took advantage of the situation and began
to grope me.When the crowd subsided,everyone seemed like regular
people-I couldn't for the life of me imagine that my molestor would
come from within the parents of the school that I studied in.
Later that year,during a school trip,six of my friends were
molested on a train.And this is a regular happening.It happens to one
of us every single day.And we are sometimes encouraged to keep our
mouths shut,as if it is OUR fault that someone has molested us.

"You can call me stupid but be honest to yourself. Instead of lecturing me to respect others judgement - I believe you need the same more urgently. I said - use of "communal riot" which did not happen was irresponsible. I suppose "Communal riot" was a typo ,which was removed in the editing. Even if you do not admit,you know it and those who read it because it was show cased.know it.

It is indeed sad that you had to witness something like this.It is true that we are disappointed at the same of affairs,but I guess the next plan of action would be to decide what to do about it.

Since you obviously come across as someone sensible,amiable and open to ideas,here's my interpretation of the events which took place.
I cannot be partisan and be dismissive of the CPI(M) and its actions and neither can you.After all,you are interested in the people's well-being.We have seen from your repeated efforts as to how dedicated you are to your cause.You should write letters to both Biman Bose and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya.If they have intelligentsia like you to back them up,then West Bengal will return to its original State of calm and peace will prevail. I have full faith in your adminstrative abilities.I don't know why anyone else hasn't mentioned it,but you have a tremendous grasp on Bengal's political scenario.

You are wrong...and please stop being so dogmatic in your approach...the riots took on a communal colour..and all you are concerned about is supporting one political party.I don't know why you are embittered.Learn how to respect other people's judgement.I edited the blog because there were typos,not because of your absurdness and stupidity.
